Meet Sue

I’m excited to share a bit about myself and my passion for travel!

I live in Minneapolis, Minnesota, with my husband, Kermit, and our cat, Sage. After 37 years as an elementary school teacher working with gifted and talented students, I’m thrilled to embark on a new adventure. In my free time, I love hiking with my husband, spending time with my family, and traveling – especially cruising! I find the planning process for trips, with all the research involved, almost as enjoyable as the trip itself, as it gives me something exciting to anticipate.

My love for travel led me to join Kate’s World Travel as a travel advisor. I’ve been on over 35 cruises with various lines including Princess, Disney, Norwegian, and Celebrity. My favorite destination so far has been Antarctica. Princess Cruises holds a special place in my heart; I find they offer a perfect balance of sea days and port days. Their Broadway-caliber theater shows, live entertainment, delicious gourmet food, and wonderful amenities make for truly indulgent vacations.

Beyond cruising, I’m also an avid National Park enthusiast and have proudly visited all 63 National Parks. The challenges of reaching some of these parks made the accomplishment even more thrilling ! Some of my favorites include Yosemite, Great Basin, Volcano, and Isle Royale.

I specialize in planning memorable family and friend cruising vacations, allowing you to relax and focus on making lasting memories. I truly believe cruising is one of the most financially friendly ways to both relax and learn.
