Meet Betsey

I am a daughter, sister, wife, mother aunt, friend and teacher to many. I am the wife of a man who makes me laugh every singe day. I consider myself really lucky that the boy I met in college at age 18 still has that effect on me. We have three adult children who are pretty much grown and flown, though they know our door is always open for them when they need it. I taught elementary school for 33 years and (for the most part:-) loved everything about my career right up until the day I retired.

Being a travel advisor is my “ACT II” career and I am so excited to be doing something challenging, fun and helpful again. Teachers are people pleasers, we’re organized, perky and want what’s best for others. So, since I love to travel, and have always been the vacation planner with our family and friends, I am looking forward to applying these skills to become the best travel advisor I can be.

She was available by phone, text, and email and answered promptly when we reached out. Having one link with all our travel information was very convenient. She worked with local travel agents in Kenya to provide interesting local experiences as well as luxurious food and lodging accommodations. She also managed a last-minute change to our itinerary with grace and professionalism.

From the beginning, Betsey took the time to understand what we were looking for in our dream honeymoon, and she delivered. Throughout the planning process she was extremely responsive, and even followed up many times to ensure we were satisfied. Even during the trip when there was a problem with one of our hotels, Betsey was responsive and found a solution quickly - she went above and beyond to solve the problem. The itinerary and app that she provided was extremely helpful and we used it through our entire trip.
