France has so much to see and do. Paris has the largest amount of museums and major sites. You could spend a week in Paris and still not see it all. There are also numerous day trips you can take outside the city to the Chateaus in the Loire Valley, the Champagne region in Reims, and the unbelievable palace of Versailles. In the South of France, you have the Riviera which includes Nice with its relaxing promenade on the sea, and Monaco with its palace and fancy casinos. In the west of France, you can visit the Burgundy wine region and in southeastern France, you can visit the Provence area with its farmer’s markets and lavender fields. We stayed in Aix de Provence and visited the Lavender fields. Awe that scent was amazing and the lavender honey was absolutely delicious!
