Our founder, Kate Newland, spent 16 years as a dedicated teacher before she turned her passion for travel into a thriving business. After noticing a significant lack of personal touch and advanced knowledge in the local travel agencies, Kate decided to bridge the gap herself. I’m with Kate’s World Travel, making sure our travelers have top-notch experiences. Before working for Kate, I was a high school English teacher. I work behind the scenes by emailing clients important updates, creating beautiful proposals, contacting hotels for our clients before they arrive to make sure they are ready for their arrival, and helping to ensure we have the best offers for clients. It’s all about smooth operations, so our travelers can focus on making memories.
Kay
I’ve been happily married for five amazing years. I started as a nurse, but when the pandemic hit, I decided to shake things up. I dove into freelancing. I do a lot of graphic design and video editing for Kate’s World Travel. I also do many things behind the scenes for our clients such as finding special offers, creating beautiful guides for clients about their destinations, group trip brochures, helping with group social media content, and creating beautiful proposals. I want to make sure our clients have a smooth trip.

I am a marketing specialist. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Advertising and Public Relations. I worked as a Marketing Specialist for 6 years. I create beautiful emails for our newsletters and new trip emails, facilitate webinars, create our company’s social media content, and update and develop our website. I like that it’s all about my favorite thing to do, traveling.
