For 30 years, I had the pleasure of working in education as an elementary teacher, reading coach, and school librarian. With two master’s degrees in hand—one in Reading and one in Information Technology—my career was built on a love for research and a genuine desire to help others grow. Now that I’m retired, I’ve found a new way to put those skills to use, turning a lifelong passion into a new adventure: travel planning!
My husband, John, and I have spent our 35 years together traveling the world, and we’ve learned so much along the way. We love immersing ourselves in new cultures, seeking out local flavors, and creating cherished memories. As the planner for our own family—including our two adult children—I’ve always been the go-to person for great getaways. Now, I’m thrilled to be helping our daughter plan her destination wedding in the Dominican Republic!
