I live in Gatchellville, Pennsylvania with my wife, Emily. My son, Josh, is a professional firefighter in Frederick County, Maryland. He lives with his fiance, McKenzie (a nurse). in Brunswick, Maryland. Beyond the beach, I never really traveled much as a child. However, after my wife and I got married, we became adventurers, exploring the East Coast and looking for interesting tours, treats, and landmarks.

We have traveled to Disney World and Universal Studios on multiple occasions and love each for different reasons. Our family has enjoyed exploring America’s urban environs from Cleveland and New York to Nashville and Charlotte.

Over the years due to the interests of my wife and son, we have visited numerous firehouses and libraries (my wife is a public school librarian). The process to find these in and around the country gave me a skill for finding interesting restaurants, shops, tours, and landmarks to enjoy.

Seeing the passion for travel that Kate has in helping her clients find adventures around the globe inspired me to pursue also being a travel advisor. Kate and Kate’s World Travel were very welcoming and helped me seek the training that I used and continue to employ to become even more knowledgeable and helpful in making travel for others be as much fun and exciting as it is for me.
